The mission of Open Heaven Church is to reach out to all people of all ages and backgrounds with the love and grace of Jesus Christ. To encourage and resource one another in fellowship so that all grow in God and his mission. A church where every person in our community is a member and every member matters |
When God gave us the vision he gave us some key verses from the Bible
Hosea 10:12 Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unploughed ground; For it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you
Deuteronomy 28:12 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands - the Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in seaon and to bless all the work of your hands
It is because of this verse that we have the name Open Heaven. We can genuinely say that God has blessed us as a church and provided for our needs. Our God is interested in our circumstances and he cares. He is an awesome God who holds the universe in his hands and a loving father who wants us to know him on a personal level.
