Every Tuesday, we open up our doors to the senior residents of our community for a special meal and time of friendship (Although anyone of any age is welcome)
For just £3.50 you will get a 2 course lunch and an opportunity to chat to friends and enjoy a word of encouragement.
Arrive for 12noon and we’ll be all done by about 1.30pm. Occasionally we will also arrange day trips for those who come to the meal

At Open Heaven Church we have a mini food bank for individuals and families who may need a helping hand. Wednesbury has a great food bank in the town and we are by no means in competition or operating on that scale. However, we wanted to offer local people help that was easy to access when they needed it most.
No referral necessary, each case is assessed on need and the church can give food when required. Whilst we simply can't help everyone we can help those with a genuine need. You will be asked to speak to one of our food bank volunteers who will ask you a few questions and tell you about other help the church can offer you.
